WHAT I DO: AN overview

Carolee is a poet, writer, artist and blogger with roots in northern Maine, where she was born and raised in a paper mill town along the Penobscot; in West Virginia, the college “home among the hills” where she received an undergraduate degree in journalism; and Portland, Oregon, where she learned to cultivate a stronger sense of herself.

Carolee is the proud mother of three very tall boys who awakened in her — and continue to awaken in her — a fierce spirit able to love and be loved in this strange world. 

She currently works full-time as a writer and content strategist and lives in Upstate New York with her husband and their rescue greyhound.
